My2IC — your AI second-in-command

AI could apply to everything in your business. What should you do first?

That’s a 2IC’s job. We work out where AI pays off in your business — then we build it and run it for you, like a second-in-command who never drops the ball.

Independent and vendor-neutral · hosted in Australia with consent built in.

What We Do

Advise. Build. Run.

And the longer it runs, the better it gets. Everything we learn about how your business actually works is written into a private knowledge base — sealed to you, read by your agents before they act, and yours to keep.

Advise

We work out what to do first. Our assessment talks to your whole team, benchmarks the answers against Australian use-case data, and hands you a ranked list of AI opportunities — measured on your operations, not hype.

Build

We set up your AI second-in-command. Working AI agents take on the jobs that eat your team’s hours — enquiries, intake, quoting, follow-ups, reporting — built around the systems you already use. Explore the packaged agent services.

Run

We keep it working. Your 2IC is managed, measured and improved month after month, and everything it learns about your business goes back into your own knowledge base. You keep the results without carrying the maintenance.

See It Working

Ten AI agents, in eighty seconds.

A working tour of the My2IC agent suite — from contract review and AI cost control to a website enquiry answered and replied to in about three minutes. Every screen in the reel is the real product.

Why Now

AI is no longer a technology question. It is a leadership question.

Australian mid-market businesses are being squeezed from three directions at once: customers expect faster service, good people are hard to find, and AI tools are showing up in daily work before most leadership teams have decided the rules.

For the people running the business, the question is not which tool to buy first. It’s where AI will actually make a measurable difference, what could go wrong, and how to decide — before money, time and credibility are spent.

Why My2IC

Business-first AI advice for leaders who need clarity before commitment.

My2IC is built for Australian mid-market businesses that want straight answers — what’s worth doing, what it should return, and what to avoid — before choosing tools, vendors or delivery partners.

Executive-level perspective

Built for board and leadership conversations, not generic technology training. We talk business impact, risk and readiness — in your numbers, not tech-speak.

Independent by design

We take no commissions and sell no software. That means we can help you choose and manage vendors with only one interest: yours.

Sector focus, not generic AI

Seven sectors, each with a named first pilot: accounting, legal, financial advisory, manufacturing, construction, healthcare and wholesale — we know where the hours go.

Plain-English commercial lens

Everything lands as plain-English business cases and next steps your leadership team can understand, challenge and approve.

What My2IC Does

Independent advice before the expensive decisions.

We help leadership teams work out what AI should actually do in their business: which opportunities to chase first, what they’re worth, what the risks are, and how to keep control. Where the numbers justify it we build and run it as well, on a private platform we own and operate for you in Sydney — and we oversee other technical partners where needed.

What we do

  • Identify where AI can create measurable business value
  • Rank the opportunities by payoff, effort and risk
  • Set the rules: who approves what, and where the lines are
  • Build the strategy and business case your board can approve
  • Oversee vendors and partners — without taking commissions
  • Embed Forward Deployed Engineers who own discovery, build and adoption
  • Build and run the private platform your agents sit on — hosted in Sydney, reading your systems, with a named person approving anything that reaches a customer
  • Turn what we learn into a knowledge base your business owns

What we do not do

  • Resell platforms or vendor licences
  • Ship a tool and leave before it’s adopted
  • Take vendor commissions or referral fees
  • Provide generic AI training programs
  • Push platforms, tools or implementation partners

Forward Deployed Engineering

When you need it built and adopted, not just advised.

Most AI initiatives fail at the two ends nobody owns — discovering the right thing to build, and getting the team to actually use it. A Forward Deployed Engineer is a senior My2IC engineer embedded in your business who owns both ends, and the build in between.

01

Discover

Inside the operation, mapping how the work really happens and where it breaks.

02

Build

In your environment, on your real data — governed and audit-logged.

03

Adopt

Workshops, workflow fixes and trained champions — until the new way is the default.

04

Hand over

Your team more capable, not more dependent. Still in use after we’re gone.

Start with a fixed-fee discovery sprint — you see the case proven on your own operation before committing to anything ongoing.

Build And Run

One private platform per client. Built once, run for you.

When a pilot or an embedded build proves its case, we keep running it — on a private platform we build and operate for you, hosted in Sydney, that takes in events from the systems you already run, drafts the work with AI, and sends nothing until a named person at your firm approves it. The same tested foundations run under every client; only the modules differ.

An approvals console your people sign into

Your staff sign in with their own work account and hold a role: viewer, approver or operator. Every approval and rejection records who decided, and a rejection carries a note so the writer knows what to change.

A weekly digest of what is waiting

Every Monday: what is waiting for a decision and how long it has waited, what is past the agreed decision time, what arrived this week, and who decided what — titles and counts only, never the content itself.

Guardrails you can read

Your compliance rules live in a plain file your own compliance lead can read. A draft that fails them cannot be approved without a logged override, and content from outside — web pages, emails, CRM notes — is fenced and scanned before any model sees it.

Run in Australia, in writing

Application and database in Sydney, encrypted nightly backups, an audit log the database itself refuses to alter, a 99.5% availability target with stated response times, an incident plan that follows the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, and a handover pack so nothing depends on us. AI model calls stay onshore where your compliance requires it.

Your IT and compliance leads get the trust pack, service levels and incident plan before go-live — not after.

Decision Clarity

The questions My2IC helps answer.

Where can AI create measurable value in our firm?

What should we avoid?

How do we protect quality, trust, privacy and professional judgement?

What rules and oversight does the board need to set?

Which vendors or implementation partners should we consider?

What should be approved, funded and measured over the next 90 days?
